And then, to San Francisco

We had been back only a week when our next junket to San Francisco came up. Coincidentally our 20th Wedding Anniversary and Mike's 30 year law school reunion came at the same weekend at the St. Francis in SF. Bummer huh *smile*. So we headed down on Saturday morning and took Carmen to visit her bff Eva at USF. We hadn't been in the hotel more than 15 minutes when I looked down from the 11th floor and saw in giant orange letters spread across Union Square "QUILT"...whoa. Now that is what I call sightseeing! It turned out to be a very touching display of a project called Quilt to Remember sponsored by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Here are a few photos of some of these beautiful memories. One of the most touching sentiments was "losing one petal at a time" omg what a concept.

  1. That's a sweet find - a quilt display. So... you are home and stitching now?

I'm taking tomorrow off - yeah - but not to stitch... maybe some stolen minutes... but to get ready for a fish fry party we're having on Saturday.

    Happy Anniversary!
