250 posts! Wow! It is quite amazing how a little blog called Librarygal Quilts accumulated 250 bits of quilting and life and shared them with some wonderful people! You Gals have been wonderful and I feel a real affection for my virtual quilting buddies. So, I made a little quilty present for a giveaway and of course I had to include a book. Any Librarygal worth her salt wants to give books to her friends! So here's your opportunity to win a mug rug made with the darling fabric known as Paris Apartment with a little bit of Full Bloom, by Bari J. and a polka dot mug to match and a lovely book The Gentle Art of Quiltmaking by Jane Brocket. I love this book. It's beautifully written and has some timeless patterns to make over and over again. You'll love it!
Here's the giveaway guidelines: Tell me your favorite quilting book, and if you want a second chance to win, become a follower. If you share my giveaway let me know and I'll throw your name in again! I will choose a winner on Friday, April 20th at 7:30 pm!
On the family front, my daughter Paloma has decided to start quilting and has now taken her first class and finished her first quilt for her little guy Deakin. Yay!
Our other daughter Carmen has been accepted at UC Berkeley for graduate school in English Education in Multicultural Urban Secondary Education . Woo!
Mike is getting close to retiring and I just celebrated 30 years at Chico State! We are a happy family!
I have to say, it's good to have a blog. It keeps track of some very important times in your life and connects you with others who love what you love. Thank you gals for 5 years of friendship!
Lots of Love and Wishes for time to Create! Pam
